Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the front line of our sales organization. They must learn how to identify potential partners through research and engage executives at targeted companies through a variety of outbound initiatives.

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

  • Daily, high volume outbound phone campaigns to recruit potential partners
  • Working as an integral part of the Sales team to identify and onboard new partners
  • Mapping prospective organizations by organizational structure, people and existing technology
  • Engaging executives in targeted prospect accounts by phone and email
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective partners

Job Requirements

Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description

Medicus IT’s Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of internal systems, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments and telephony systems (VOIP, traditional communication systems, voicemail systems, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software), as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system network requests.

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with the design and implementation, installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, mobile devices, peripheral equipment, telephony systems, servers, storage, networking and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client emergencies with minimal oversight, persevering until resolved
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance check on client servers
  • Work with vendor representatives to resolve software and hardware issues
  • Install and/or upgrade Microsoft Server Operating Systems
  • Perform advanced virus, malware and ransomware mediation
  • Configure and install firewalls to best-practice standards
  • Provide professional quality server room cable management
  • Resolve backup issues and perform restore testing
  • Install, configure, support complex virtual environments with High Availability in VMWare ESXi and Hyper-V environments
  • Work with clients to harden security posture through policy and advanced technologies according to Medicus IT standards and processes
  • Communicate with clients as required: Keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed upon outages
  • Follow all Medicus IT’s defined processes and standards

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or similar course of study OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • A minimum of 5+ years of as a Systems Engineer or similar role, working in Microsoft Environments
  • Required certifications: MS Windows 70-687, MS Server 70-410, MCSA: Server (70-410, 70-411, 70-412), MCSA: O365 (70-346, 70-347), MCSE: Server Infrastructure or current equivalents, plus 3 electives and at least 2 business courses
  • Strong understanding of Windows 2016/2012/2008 servers, Active Directory, SQL, Sharepoint, Exchange Servers, Backup Technologies, Internet/DNS/E-mail/Communication issues
  • Knowledge of VMWare, Citrix, VPN and Terminal Services
  • Knowledge of VoIP, voicemail, analog, and vendor specific hardware/software

Client Experience Coordinator

Job Description

The Client Experience Coordinator allocates the Medicus IT’s technical resources. This individual is responsible for attaining maximum utilization of technical and material resources through daily dispatch of service requests, monitoring and managing incoming client requests so that they can be dispatched for optimal client service and business performance, managing materials utilization and hardware inventory, and participating in project planning, solution delivery.

Technical Resource Allocation:

  • Single point of contact to clients for all service requests made via telephone and through the Medicus IT ticketing system
  • Planning for and Managing technical resource availability, with the objective to maximize utilization of billable resources
  • Ensure accuracy of all service requests as they arrive through email, manual entry, or direct customer input, prior to scheduling resources
  • Schedule internal and field resources on ConnectWise dispatch portal
  • Monitor resource schedules to ensure prompt time entry on service requests
  • Advocating for technical resource allocation as required
  • Manage Past Due Tickets, following up with engineers, reassigning to appropriate resources as required
  • Communicate with clients as required to keep them informed of incident progress, notification of impending changes and agreed upon outages
  • Escalate service requests that cannot be scheduled within agreed upon service levels

Hardware and Materials Management:

  • Maintaining Inventory levels for commonly used technical components
  • Manage and schedule pick-up and proper destruction of all recycled hardware
  • Receive packages into ConnectWise following approved Medicus IT procurement and receiving processes

Reporting and Project Participation

  • Participate in project planning, solution delivery, mentoring and teaching improved processes to team members
  • Daily Management and Reporting of Metrics deemed critical to operational success
  • Time, service work and expense entry in ConnectWise, as transactions occur
  • Completes assigned training and blueprints in ConnectWise University

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Consultative Selling: Qualifies potential matches for Medicus Managed and Professional

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • MSP specific experience strongly desired (ConnectWise experience preferred).
  • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university is required.
