Risk Assessment

Identify the gaps in your system.

A risk assessment is required under the Security Rule implemented by the Department of Health and Human Services to implement policies and procedures to prevent, detect, contain, and correct security violations.

A risk assessment helps your organization ensure it is compliant with HIPAA’s administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.

A risk assessment also helps reveal areas where your organization’s patient health information (PHI) could be at risk. Medicus IT will perform the technical portion of the Risk Assessment, as well as explain any issues or technical lingo to the practice. If any issues are discovered, we can easily provide the remediation, making sure you are HIPAA compliant, and that your ePHI is safe and secure.

For more information on risk analysis, visit the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

As a HIPAA & MU Compliance servicing organization, we work with a lot of IT companies around the country – Our experience with Medicus IT stands out above the rest.
