Bert’s Big Adventure

Medicus has sponsored Bert’s Big Adventure, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (established in 2002) that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, 5-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.

Drawchange

Medicus IT sponsors the annual Drawchange 5k, which helps supply art programs to underprivileged and homeless children.

Established in 2009, drawchange is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to aid global change by supplying the world’s children with empowering art experiences. Together we can provide the programs that allow them to effectively visualize a better life for themselves.

Habitat for Humanity

And, despite what some might call amateur carpentry skills, we have assisted Habitat for Humanity with service projects in Metro Atlanta. Atlanta Habitat for Humanity transforms communities by acting as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization through education, innovative development, partnerships, and long-term relationships with families.

Jog for a Cause

Medicus employees have participated in the annual Mayor’s Run and Jog For A Cause, a race hosted by the City of Milton and North Point Pediatrics. The race benefits the families of local pediatric cancer patients. Grab some friends or your running group and join this fun, fast Peachtree qualifier!

Kids Doc On Wheels

Medicus IT proudly provides free monthly IT services to Kids’-Doc-On-Wheels (KDOW) so that they can provide quality pediatric care to children in communities as well as their school.

The first of its kind in the State of Georgia, KDOW provides comprehensive pediatric medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare to children ages 0 to 18 who are under-served and under-insured. Services are provided in a state-of-the-art customized mobile unit, which is outfitted with two exam rooms, a restroom, lab, and patient check-in and waiting area. The mission of KDOW is to ensure increased access to high-quality and comprehensive pediatric care in children’s communities as well as their primary daily location – School.
